Hey Everyone! we've gone quite sometime without any new updates, so I figured I would spread the good word of what is happening in Yucky town.

We are excited to report that we are gearing up to head into the studio tomorrow night to record an awesome new song for a brand spanking new TwinCities Rock'n'Roll Compilation CD entitled:

"The Devil's Basement- UNLOCKED"

The Devil himself put this together, and he got a really great bunch of bands to be on it.  We are totally stoked about it.  Keep checking back here or on our myspace (www.myspace.com/theyuckies) and we will keep everyone updated on the actual release and when you can get your hands on a copy!

 Just checking back in with an update on Kelly's shoulder condition...  all is well and she is in physical therapy.

The Yuckies have been rehearsing and preparing for some upcoming shows!  We are VERY excited to be playing out again as early as THIS SATURDAY At the Cherry Pit Bar in St. Paul!                                                      (Come out, because it is a benefit for a victim of a drunk driver. Please  check the calendar section, for more details.)

Also check for a few other show dates... right now we are staying pretty close to the Twin Cities and as far as Wausau, WI (Coming back to The Cruise In, baby!) but we hope to get farther out on the road ASAP!

Hello everyone! Just checking in with some lowdown...

Kelly's shoulder surgery went very well.  She is recovering quickly and excited to try her new moves on the guitar in August.  (technically July 31st or earlier.)  But, don't expect any wild "arm spins" just quite yet!

Meanwhile, we have been working behind the scenes and tending to other band business, including getting some shows lined up and there has been talk about a possible tour for this WINTER.. Also, we are happy to report that our CD "Dirty Bird" is now available for purchase @ InterPunk.com.

Summer is fast approaching us!  (And finally, eh?)  The Minnesota winter is OVER!!

What a perfect time for us to stop in and give you the low-down of whats happening with us these days!

Our tour/show schedule has been winding down as of late. We have been busy fulfilling other obligations and anticipating  Kelly's shoulder surgery in May.    We will be laying pretty low for a couple of  months while she recovers, but we will be booking and playing some shows late summer/early fall.

We are definately plotting our next moves.

We're baaaaaack!  (We have been for a little over a week now.) We had a blast out East!  Thanks to all of our friends, family and fans out there that supported us, fed us and gave us a place to sleep at night! We will NOT forget it! We can't wait to get back out on the road!

We had some great shows, amazing memories and we also shot a music video! Which should be completed after final editing soon.

We are currently getting geared up to head out to the East Coast for a few shows, but we couldnt wait any longer to get this record out to everyone who has been patiently waiting for it. 

We will have an "Official" Cd Release Party/Show in Minneapolis once we get back from the East! More details to follow!

***Sunday, March 15th, 2009**

Hey all! 

We have returned from an awesome show out in Wausau, WI this past Friday with Corpse Show Creeps and Cool Hand.  Good times were had by all! (we hope) We thought it was a great night!

We are definately getting geared up and ready to fly out to the East Coast!!  On Friday morning, we approved the art work proofs for our upcoming album, so those are now hot on the presses! We should have our album up for sale in the online store with in the next 2 weeks or so.  (And of course, we will have it for sale at all of our shows- so come on out!)

Also, we just ordered some new The Yuckies T-Shirts, and they are availble for purchase in the Store section of this site. Go check 'em out! 

We are currently limited on size options for the new ones, but don't worry- that will be remedied SOON.

We got some good shows coming up this week! So if you are in Minneapolis/St. Paul- come hang out with us!  Check the calendar for details.

Hey Folks!  We have JUST added a few new shows in Brooklyn, NY to our calendar for late March. ALSO, we WILL be adding shows for Philly, and maybe some more NY.. keep checking back.. stuffs coming together quickly!
