THE YUCKIES

Hey All,

This is Jess, blogging her heart out to you.

SO! The Yuckies have been up to MANY things as of late.... One being we finished recording our first record!  The next step is to take that baby to be mastered and pressed in a beautiful fashion.

But first we'd need some album art work.  We were considering having a little friendly "art work" contest, and see what we come up with.. So: stay tuned for more info on that.

We would like to have this record out by the end of the year, at the very latest, January!!

The Yuckies have also made two radio appearances in the past week.

on 11/4/08 we were invited as musical guests on KFAI Radio Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We played some live tunes, and had an on-air interview with them.  We had a great time!

Also having a radio debut today:  "Hey Alaska" was aired at 4:30 PM CST on Radio KOOP 91.7 FM Austin, TX.  Thanks to Dan for hearing something in our music, that made it worthy for his radio show!
