Hello all!

Jess, here.. sitting at home right now, listening to a program on the History channel, after an event filled day (for me, historical) and I feel content.

This morning we provided the art work and the music for our first album to the pressing company that is pressing the first batch of copies of our first album.

We paid our dues and even reviewed some proofs of the completed art work today.

Everything is looking GREAT, and we cant wait to have the real thing in our hands!

We are hard pressed at this point for a deadline of getting these before we hit the East coast.  (Which means having them by March 27th)

The pressing company that we have gone with is working very hard to help us reach that goal! They kick so much ass! We cant wait for this thing to drop!  It feels better than Christmas!

We also cant wait to tour!!!  If you are on the East coast, be sure to check our calendar- we've got some dates in there and hopefully will be adding more- VERY SOON.

We would love to have you come out and party with us!!

Tomorrow is our first show in Wisconsin. (the state I was born and bred)  I look forward to playing for old friends and family and drinking tons of Vodka & Cranberries(thanks,Matt!) , in celebration! (It is also my brother Josh's 26th Birthday.) And it's FRIDAY THE 13TH with Corpse Show Creeps and Cool Hand! 

Doesnt get any better!

SO..If you are coming out, we will see you there and toast!

Hello all,

This is Jess again!  Just stopping by with an album update... Our songs for the album are currently being mastered by SounderAudio in Louisville, KY! 

After that process is complete, we will be have a crap load of copies pressed, and placed into the hot little hands of anyone who wants one!

We are currently hashing our the album art work and layouts, and are hoping for an early March release.  And I personally, am ready to explode with excitement to finally get this music out into circulation!!!

Of Course we will keep you updated on any new news.  So check back here often!

Hey All,

This is Jess, blogging her heart out to you.

SO! The Yuckies have been up to MANY things as of late.... One being we finished recording our first record!  The next step is to take that baby to be mastered and pressed in a beautiful fashion.

But first we'd need some album art work.  We were considering having a little friendly "art work" contest, and see what we come up with.. So: stay tuned for more info on that.

We would like to have this record out by the end of the year, at the very latest, January!!

The Yuckies have also made two radio appearances in the past week.

on 11/4/08 we were invited as musical guests on KFAI Radio Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We played some live tunes, and had an on-air interview with them.  We had a great time!

We'd like to thank KFAI Radio Revolución for having us as guests!  You can tune in or stream current or past shows at:  www.kfai.org   Radio without Boundaries!

Also having a radio debut today:  "Hey Alaska" was aired at 4:30 PM CST on Radio KOOP 91.7 FM Austin, TX.  Thanks to Dan for hearing something in our music, that made it worthy for his radio show!

Also, radio KOOP is in need of some assistance from the public, so if you can afford to make a humble donation to the station, we would GREATLY appreciate it.  Keep independence alive!
